Still gripping your face, your other-self reverts in shape. It grows leaner, longer each time your skull crashes into the stones. It's hair and features fade away, and the fingers that gripped your head sprouted claws that cut into your face. As the bloody pool around your head grew, so did the creature's fury, continuing to slam your head into the ground until little remained.
The creature rose, and walked away from the grisly remains of it's victim. As it left, the yellow fog rolled with it.

The creature took on the appearance of those I could not remember.")The creature shifted before your very eyes. The gaunt, inhuman being took on a familiar shapes, though could not quite settle onto a form.
It took a vague, feminine form, shrinking slender, face framed by swirling, chestnut curls. The body features prominent brown eyes, eyes you couldn't remember but gave you a feeling of family, of home.

Another man, you thought. He swelled in size, doubling in the very least. His eyes became shrouded, and his beard grew large. He inspired crossed emotions - there was a strange feeling of loyalty, yet also a strong repulsion, a visceral hatred.

The creature changed several times more, each shape more bland and featureless than the last. Furious, it returned to it's original shape, lean, tall, bound in yellow-gray tattered bandages. It breathed in and out sharply, through gritted, sharpened teeth.
Long, draping arms reached towards you with jagged claws. You were frozen in fear, an unnatural feeling, something that had just begun to emanate from this creature as it grew frustrated.
You fell backward, and you dropped your $weapon as you began to crawl away from the now-screaming creature.
